The MTA has teamed up with NYC-based specialty sandwich shop Alidoro and the iconic Katz's Delicatessen for a special, limited edition offering: The 1904 Sandwich, a spin on the classic pastrami on rye.
The city's mass transit system is an essential and affordable key to unlocking exciting experiences in New York City, and The 1904 celebrates the system's anniversary. The first subway train departed City Hall station on October 27th, 1904, forever changing the way New Yorkers would navigate the city. Today, that system continues to connect New Yorkers and visitors alike to delightful experiences that are just a MetroCard swipe or an OMNY tap away.
