Happy Pride! Throughout June, you can find Pride events all over the region, many of which you can reach via the MTA. Below, you’ll find a roundup of the big events happening around the five boroughs, as well as Long Island’s big party, which is the second largest Pride event in New York after the city's historic Pride March.

THE NEW QUEENS PRIDE PARADE AND MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL
Sunday, June 2nd, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Jackson Heights, Queens
Founded in 1993, the New Queens Pride Parade is the second oldest and second largest pride parade in New York City and is held annually on the first Sunday in June, running down 37th Avenue from 89th Street to 75th Street. Come for the parade, stay for the festival and the concert, featuring performances from Pixie Aventura, Gotham Cheer, the New York City Gay Men's Chorus, and many more.

BROOKLYN PRIDE MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL
Saturday, June 8th, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Park Slope, Brooklyn
The 28th Annual Brooklyn Pride Multicultural Festival, spanning from Union Street to 9th Street on 5th Avenue, features hundreds of local vendors selling merchandise and food and drinks. There'll also be music and drag show performances on the Brooklyn Pride Main Stage between noon and 6 p.m., all concluding with the Pride Twilight Parade, which starts at 7:30 p.m. and runs down 5th Avenue between Lincoln Place and 8th Street. It'll be a full day of celebrating, dancing and shopping.

BIG SUMMER PRIDE TWIRL
Saturday, June 8th, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Brooklyn Bridge Park, Brooklyn
Celebrate Brooklyn Pride with Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy at this free all-ages dance party, held at Pier 3 Plaza and Central Lawn in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Featuring performances from Papi Juice & Friends as well as DJ sets. Bring your good vibes and your best moves!
LONG ISLAND PRIDE PARADE AND FESTIVAL
Sunday, June 9th, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Huntington, NY
Take the LIRR out to Huntington for the 34th Annual Long Island Pride Parade and Festival. The festivities will kick off at noon, with the parade starting at Clinton Avenue and Main Street and proceeding down Main Street to Heckscher Park, where the fun continues with PrideFest.
PRIDE WEST VILLAGE WALKING TOUR
Thursday, June 20th, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., West Village, Manhattan
Hook up with our friends at the Transit Museum for a walking tour that will guide you through the West Village's transit and LGBTQ+ histories. Stops will include significant historic transit sites and landmarks like the Stonewall Inn, the site of the 1969 key uprising that energized LGBTQ+ activism and launched the annual Pride tradition, as well as honor places and organizations that centered LGBTQ+ cultural life in the neighborhood. You'll also learn about the transit history that contributed to the development of the West Village.

GARDEN PARTY
Monday, June 24th, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Pier 76 at Hudson River Park, Manhattan
Hosted by The Center, the Garden Party will be an evening of music, special guests, food and drink, and more. Enjoy beats by Bright Light Bright Light and DJ Jon Ali, remarks from The Center's new CEO, Dr. Carla Smith, and more.
PRIDE IN TIMES SQUARE
Friday, June 28th and Saturday, June 29th, Times Square, Manhattan
This annual celebration brings together performers from stage and screen, plus live DJ sets, piano bar sessions, and more. Broadway and off-Broadway fans shouldn't miss this.
DYKE MARCH
Saturday, June 29th, beginning at 5 p.m., Bryant Park, Manhattan
Back for its 31st year, the Dyke March is designed to raise awareness about women's and trans rights through noise, puppets and plenty of body positivity. The march itself will run from Bryant Park down 5th Avenue to Washington Square Park. Bring your own signs and some comfy shoes.

HARLEM PRIDE CELEBRATION DAY FESTIVAL
Saturday, June 29th, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., 12th Avenue at 133rd Street, Manhattan
Head up to the west side of Harlem for dancing, musical performances, DJ sets, and local food and shopping, as well as face painting and Drag Queen Story Hours for the kids.
YOUTH PRIDE
Saturday, June 29th, South Street Seaport Museum, Manhattan
Join NYC Pride's annual event dedicated to celebrating and empowering LGBTQIA+ youth, where you can enjoy a range of activities, including free food and snacks, carnival games, musical performances, DJ sets, and appearances by special guests.

QUEER LIBERATION MARCH
Sunday, June 30th, 11 a.m., Greenwich Village, Manhattan
Organized by the Reclaim Pride Coalition, the Queer Liberation March is a protest march that rejects corporate sponsorship and police involvement, with the goal of "tak[ing] to the streets to challenge systemic oppression, advocat[ing] for justice, and creat[ing] a world where all queer and transgender individuals are free to live authentically and without fear." The march will start at Sheridan Square in Greenwich Village and, at 11:30 a.m., begin making its way downtown to Battery Park.

PRIDEFEST
Sunday, June 30th, 11 a.m., Greenwich Village, Manhattan
PrideFest is an annual LGBTQIA+ street fair featuring food, live performances, and shopping, making it a great option for those who want to celebrate but don't want to march.
THE 54TH ANNUAL PRIDE MARCH
Sunday, June 30th, 12 p.m., Manhattan
The first Pride March took place in 1970, one year after the Stonewall Uprising, and has since evolved into an annual civil rights demonstration, growing bigger every year. The theme of this year's march is "Reflect. Empower. Unite." Per NYC Pride, "Drawing upon the activist history that ignited the movement for LGBTQIA+ rights, the theme encourages individuals, advocates, community leaders and allies to reflect on the challenges they have overcome together and empowers them to take action in shaping our collective future." The march will begin around noon at 25th Street and 5th Avenue.
