If you are looking to honor a passed loved one who served our country for Memorial Day, the LIRR is offering an escorted tour to Calverton National Cemetery.  

This Escorted Tour includes round-trip train and bus transportation, as well as a stop at Kaufold Florist, affording visitors the opportunity to purchase flowers and coffee or tea.  Once inside the cemetery, shuttle buses are available to take visitors to pre-selected sections, enabling them to reach their sites more quickly. We recommend customers pack a lunch, since eating facilities are not available on this tour.

The MTA Deal

$39.50 per adult ($31.25 per child, ages 5-11). The tour includes round-trip rail and bus transportation to and from Kaufold Florist and Calverton Cemetery on May 28, 2022.

Important Information

Tickets may be purchased at Gray, Green or Blue Ticket Machines and ticket windows at LIRR stations. Select "MTA Away Deals," then, "Escorted Tours," then the tour. Multiple tickets/vouchers will print. Be sure to take all items dispensed and board the rear train car.

Please check the track assignment at the information booth on the day of tour. Remember to board the rear car of the Ronkonkoma train to Central Islip Station. Tours are subject to cancellation. All train times, prices and dates may be subject to change.
