For the past 40 years, approximately 200,000 Long Islanders and visitors from throughout the east coast participate in the region's largest waterfront festival... the Oyster Festival!

The beautiful and historic village of Oyster Bay, New York, hosts an outstanding weekend of family, fun, food and festivities under the auspices of the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Rotary Club and its Oyster Bay Charitable Fund.

We are celebrating the festival's 41st anniversary - paying homage to the oyster, by serving it in every conceivable form. On the half shell, fried, chowder, and this year wood-fired, are highlights of our Oyster food court. Seafood, such as shrimp and clams, as well as more traditional festival foods are available as well!

Aside from the food courts, our festival boasts of the traditional excitement of oyster shucking and oyster eating contests, a huge arts & crafts pavilion, amusement rides & games, and continuous live entertainment!
