Join the residents of Port Jefferson as they turn the village into 1860s London for the annual Charles Dickens Festival. Over the course of the weekend, you can attend a performance of "A Christmas Carol," enter a raffle for a Lionel train set, have some apple cider at the historic Drowned Meadow Cottage Museum, do a meet-and-greet with Santa Claus, buy roasted chestnuts, or simply hang out with the various street performers bringing Dickens' story and times to life. Most events are free and all are open to the public.
