MTA Away is your source for travel inspiration and deals
The MTA is the largest transportation network in North America, and MTA Away is here to help you navigate it. We are your guide to destinations near and far.
Whether you’re headed to a new, after work hotspot, or taking a trip upstate for some weekend exploration, we’ll make it easy for you. We’ve got new ideas for your bucket list, fun facts and explainers about the transit system, and even deals to help you save.
Our robust subway, bus and railroad service can whisk you away to biking trails and beaches, to museums and Broadway, to a classic New York City restaurant, beloved dive or rooftop oasis, a castle in the Hudson River, a garden paradise in the Bronx, a novel rail-side attraction on Long Island, and architectural masterpieces. There are hidden gems and historical spots all around us, and we’ll tip you off to them all.
Relax and forget about traffic, reduce your carbon footprint, save your gas money, and find inspiration at MTA Away. We go where you want to go—and where you didn’t even know you wanted to go!
