Welcome back to "Sessions at..." where we bring musicians to the MTA's vast network for surprise pop-up performances! For our most recent Session, on December 3rd, Brooklyn alt rock band Quarters of Change performed at the 14th St-Union Square station; you can watch their full performance here:
As for the band's favorite subway stops, singer Ben Roter told us it's "Brooklyn Bridge - City Hall, because of the iconic 6 train wraparound." Referring, of course, to the loop that brings you by the old City Hall station. (Watch to the end of the video to hear each band member's favorite stop.)
The band will play at Brooklyn Steel on December 13th, 2024. And you can listen to more of their songs here.
Follow Quarters of Change on Instagram and TikTok.
Stay tuned for more — these "sessions" are unannounced and happen in various stations at different times of the day and night, so keep riding and try to catch the next one! If you miss any live, you'll spot them on our digital screens throughout the system which will direct you to the full performance.
