2025 will mark the 100th anniversary of The New Yorker, and the New York Public Library is throwing old Eustace Tilley and friends a birthday party that will last almost as long with "A Century of The New Yorker," an exhibition on and survey of the magazine, its writers and contributors, and its legacy. Items on display will include manuscripts and drafts of articles and stories, typewriters used by William Shawn and Lillian Ross, original art and correspondence, and much more.
