Celebrate the life and lessons of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at BAM's annual tribute to the civil rights leader. This year's tribute will include a performance by the Ailey II dance troupe and The Fire Ensemble chorus, led by Troy Anthony, plus a 1:00 pm free screening of the new Raoul Peck documentary Ernest Cole: Lost and Found at the BAM Rose Theater and family-friendly activities presented by BAMkids in The Adam Space. Free tickets to this event will be distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis beginning at 8:00 am on January 20th in the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House lobby.
